After moving to California, he began to put this dream into action. He spent nights and weekends experimenting in his garage until he invented the first prototype of the Onewheel with chain drive, the "Old Iron Slides," in 2008. Over the years, the construction was refined, improving handling, maneuverability, and the motor until the original Onewheel was completed in 2013. In 2014, a successful Kickstarter campaign was launched, raising the necessary capital for mass production of the first Onewheel model. The response was overwhelming, and the product quickly gained attention in the tech and boarding communities. Future Motion is proud to build every Onewheel in San Jose, California. ONEWHEEL. Onewheel GT
Higher Performance, Better Range, and Robust Design for Demanding Riders The completely redesigned Onewheel GT comes with entirely new concave footpads, grippier grip tape, and customizable tires. The more powerful 21700-cell battery provides an impressive range of up to 52 km on a single charge, making longer adventures possible. With a top speed of 32 km/h and a powerful 750 W Hypercore® hub motor, the GT ensures dynamic rides and fast acceleration. Additionally, it features a larger board, bigger footpads, and a larger wheel – making it ideal for taller riders or those seeking more stability. Perfect Riding Fun in the Terrain You can choose between slick tires or treaded tires. Based on our experience, changing tires can be challenging for a layperson, but you can certainly have our workshop handle it. We recommend determining your primary terrain at the time of purchase to get the perfect tires for your setup. Improved Comfort and Control, as well as Enhanced Visibility The concave front and rear footpads of the Onewheel GT provide maximum comfort and excellent control. The grippy grip tape and the new control system allow for deeper carving and more precise maneuvering, making the riding experience even more intense and enjoyable. With 300% brighter LED lights and new headlights for better visibility, you can be sure that you will be well seen even in low light conditions. The GT comes standard with the Maghandle Pro made of rubberized aluminum, which makes carrying the board much easier. Customize Your Setup with Digital Shaping 3.0 The Onewheel app allows you to customize the six standard riding modes (Bay, Roam, Flow, Highline, Elevated, Apex) according to terrain and preferred feel, using the seven shaping options: Stance Profile (board tilt angle), Braking Aggressiveness (board responsiveness when braking), Aggressiveness Profile (board responsiveness based on speed), Dynamic Responsiveness, Turn Compensation, Jump Re-engagement, Zone Engagement. ONEWHEEL. Onewheel Pint
The Perfect Beginner Onewheel The smallest and lightest Onewheel Pint is perfect for anyone looking for a stylish vehicle for the city and smaller adventures. What makes the Onewheel Pint so special is its LED light indicator (Lightbar), the integrated carry handle (Maghandle), the Simplestop dismount function, as well as its agility and maneuverability. Its smaller and rounder tire and narrower stance make carving easier and make fast turns even more entertaining. Powerful and Quick to Charge The Onewheel Pint offers a range of 10-13 km per charge, making it ideal for short to medium-length rides. Charging takes 120 minutes with the standard charger, while the optional Ultracharger reduces the charging time to just 50 minutes. With a top speed of 26 km/h, the Pint ensures fast and efficient rides through the city. Easy Dismount with the Simplestop Function The Simplestop function allows you to bring the board to a stop simply by leaning back. This not only makes riding safer but also easier to learn. It is enabled by default, but you can disable it via the Onewheel app and bring the board to a stop using the Heel Lift technique. Easy Carrying Thanks to the Maghandle The Maghandle is a practical carrying handle attached to the frame of the board, which folds up when not in use. Thanks to it, the Onewheel Pint can be effortlessly taken anywhere. The Maghandle is available in various colors, allowing you to personalize your Pint. If you want to upgrade, you can opt for the Maghandle Pro made of rubberized aluminum. The Unique Onewheel Lightbar The Lightbar on the front footpad is perhaps one of the most amazing features of the Onewheel Pint. It provides all kinds of important information, from battery status to Simplestop activation. When the light indicator is full, the battery is fully charged. However, if it is barely present and turns yellow and then red, it’s time to charge your Onewheel quickly. As soon as you charge your Onewheel, the Lightbar pulses with a white light. The Lightbar also helps you determine if you’re activating the footpad correctly. If the left half of the Lightbar lights up blue, you’re using the left side of the footpad and vice versa for the right side. If the entire Lightbar lights up blue, you’re activating the entire footpad. When riding at high speed, the light indicator turns off so you’re not distracted. If it lights up pink, Simplestop is activated. Additionally, your Lightbar will show you error messages (for example, flashing orange). A comprehensive list of Lightbar colors can be found in the accompanying manual. What’s Included in the Box? The Onewheel Pint is the most compact and affordable model in the Onewheel family. It is ideal for beginners to dive into the Onewheel world and experience the joy of riding. The advantages are its light weight and compact size, making it the perfect companion for daily commuting. From our own experience, we particularly recommend the Onewheel Pint if you need to cover short distances and have a shoe size of up to about 42. Additionally, the Pint is designed for a payload of up to 125 kg, but from our experience, you will experience the full power with a body weight of up to 70-80 kg. If you are taller or want more range and power, we recommend the following models.

Onewheel Models with More Power

The Onewheel Pint X is the absolute top seller in the Onewheel family thanks to its combination of power and compactness, yet beginner-friendly price. It is an upgraded version of the Pint, offering a longer range, higher speeds, and the same Custom Shaping as the Pint S. Thus, it is ideal for riders looking for more adventure and performance. It is suitable for any terrain, from asphalt to grass, dirt, gravel, and even the beach. The Pint X is perfect for longer rides and more experienced riders.

The Onewheel Pint S is the Ferrari of the Pint series and is packed with features for maximum performance, allowing you to go off-road even with a compact Pint. It offers speeds of up to 32 km/h and a range of up to 29 km, higher than the Pint X. Notable highlights of the Onewheel Pint S include the 6'' Performance Treaded Tire, larger Flared Footpads, and the completely new firmware with improved ride characteristics and Custom Shaping for maximum riding fun and stability.

The Onewheel GT is the high-performance model of the Onewheel family. It offers an impressive range, high speeds, and high acceleration, with an extra robust design and improved ride control, especially for off-road riding. If you're looking for a Onewheel for off-road and serious tours, we highly recommend the Onewheel GT. The GT is also well-suited for larger riders with more body weight and a larger shoe size. Due to its high-quality features, it is naturally heavier, larger, and more expensive than the Pint and Pint X.

The Onewheel GT S represents the top model in the Onewheel lineup with the best performance. Its increased operating voltage provides immense power, allowing you to handle even extreme inclines with ease. Thanks to its lighter interior and thinner footpads, it combines unmatched lightness with stability. The GT S is also available in two upgrades: “Recurve Rail” and “Rally Edition”. The Recurve Rail provides increased leverage and control. The Rally Edition features an even more compact 6'' motor in addition to the Recurve Rail, resulting in thicker wheels. These provide extra cushioning and lead to an even smoother riding experience on uneven surfaces. In summary, the Onewheel GT S is ideal for professionals and those seeking the ultimate Onewheel experience.

Each Onewheel model offers unique advantages tailored to different needs and riding experiences. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, Onewheel has the right model for your adventures.
